Oncosoft, a medical AI solution company, announced on the 22nd that it has recently obtained simultaneous certification for 'ISO 27001,' the information security management system, and 'ISO 27701,' the privacy information management system, both established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
ISO 27001 is the most authoritative international standard in the field of information security. To achieve certification, a company must pass an audit based on 114 control standards across 14 domains, including information security policies, physical security, and information access control. Oncosoft stated that this certification signifies that the company has a security system in place to identify and manage major information assets and respond to potential threats.
ISO 27701 is an international standard specializing in privacy protection. It is awarded to organizations with excellent management procedures and protective measures for all personal data processing activities, based on the foundation of ISO 27001.
An Oncosoft official stated, "With this certification, we have demonstrated that the information security and personal information management systems of our solutions and services are at an international level." The official added, "We expect this to enhance trust with our domestic and international customers and strengthen our competitiveness in solution supply."

He added, "We will consistently strengthen our global market competitiveness by complying with the regulations and certification requirements of each country."
Meanwhile, Oncosoft obtained regulatory approval in Korea in 2022 for its AI-based auto-contouring software, 'OncoStudio.' OncoStudio is currently in use at over 20 hospitals in Korea, including Samsung Medical Center and Severance Hospital. The company has recently obtained U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance and Japanese medical device certification, and is actively pursuing overseas market entry.
An Oncosoft official mentioned, "The radiation therapy management platform 'OncoFlow,' which has been on sale since this January, provides an integrated solution that covers the entire radiation therapy process together with 'OncoStudio,' and is receiving high expectations from the market."
